Bus Operating Hours

Okay, getting conflicting answers from CMs, so asking here for a definitive answer - do the buses beginning running to parks one or two hours prior to opening? E.g. when we head to AK on Saturday morning and EMH is 7am, do they start bussing over at 6am or even earlier than that?

Thank you! That's what I thought but the last person I spoke to said two hours, which completely threw me since it seemed way too early, lol.

In our experiences, they are often running about an hour before park opening (even though 45 min is the official line). We were once told by a concierge about 'after hours' busses that run somewhat randomly, but if you call transportation you can get picked up. We never tried that, but one time when we were up WAY too early, we did catch an unmarked bus to Magic Kingdom a couple hours before opening. We had gone out to the bus stop out of curiosity (and fully planning to hop in the car and drive over) and up came a bus with one of the random codes on it. He stopped and we asked if he was going to MK and he told us he certainly could. We got on and off we went!

Since we drive to the World for all our visits, we almost always drive to the parks nowadays for morning EMH. Since we stay on-site, parking is free, and since we are morning people, we always get to the parks close to an hour before EMH opening and are often the very first car in the whole lot. As convenient as the busses are, being able to arrive and leave whenever we want and go wherever we want when we do leave is pretty darn nice. (the main exception to this rule is when the Rose and Crown is in our plans )
