Consider this...
Busses aren't the cleanest, and monorails (including the power plant) aren't real clean either. We've been talking about this for a couple pages. There also aren't a whole lot of feasable options when you consider the scale at which Disney needs to move people around. They can't have buses sitting there recharging when they need to be moving the masses around WDW. Most eco-friendly technology doesn't work so well on many ton busses carrying 50 or so people.
However, Disney does plenty of other things to keep the environment clean. They recycle most of their waste (ever read the napkins/cups/etc ?), and are pretty eco-friendly with regard to cleaning and the like as well. They make up for the transportation in other ways.
And whoever used MARTA as an example for anything good, shame on you. =) MARTA is horrible, except when you need to go downtown for concerts / sporting events.
