Hi all, I know there is boat transportation from the Lodge to the Ft, but is there direct bus transportation as well back and forth? Thanks

Bus from Wilderness Lodge to Ft Wilderness?

I think Nemo14's info is out of date.
We were there (at Wilderness Lodge) in May. in addition to the ferry and walking path, there WAS a designated, direct bus to and from Fort Wilderness, and buses to the parks often stopped at Fort Wilderness en route as well.

You can also rent a bike at WL and pedal over. It is a beautiful paved path over. We drive to WDW and both times we stayed at VWL we brought our own bicycles and rode over to and around the campgrounds every day. Now, mind you, we were staying in a villa for a week and set aside plenty of time for riding. We also took the bikes over to SSR and rode there and over to the Treehouses and on over to OKW. Fun.
