Bus from AK to DTD?

Wow, 11 days until our trip, and still trying to plan the final details. We will be heading over to DTD after a day at AK one night of our trip to see LaNouba. Could you tell me if we will need to take a bus to a resort hotel and transfer to a DTD bus, or do they have a DTD bus right at the park? Thanks Much!

You will need to get to a resort and then transfer to DTD. My advice would be to head for AKL or any of the resorts with boat access to DTD.

It is worth noting that getting between AK and DTD will take while a while so I would leave a couple of hours.

As was previously stated you will need to head to a resort first. I would imagine after a rather hot day at AK you might want to hit your own resort and freshen up a bit before La Nouba anyway. If time is tight you will want to take a cab.

I agree with Master Yoda, consider going back to your hotel to freshen up first or take a cab.

However if you don't mind walking more you might want to consider taking the bus to Saratoga Springs and walking the path over to DTD. Depening on how the bus service is running on that day, that may be a little faster than taking a bus and then a boat.

Personally I would pay the $15 or so for the cab.

I would also second the stop at the hotel to freshen up, but if that is not in your plan, you could take the bus to Saratoga Springs, as has been mentioned above.

If you go the Saratoga Route, you should disembark at the "The Springs" stop, and continue through the main area toward the lake and take the pedestrian bridge over the canal. The continue left toward DTD West Side.

Alternately, you could use the "Congress Park" bus stop, head left, and take the other walkway - which would have you walk through all of Marketplace and PI to get to West Side-La Nouba.

As previously stated, I would go to the hotel, but drive or take a cab to DTD. You're looking at a 30 - 45 min ride to DTD. This does not include the wait for the bus.

Thank you for the advice! We will definately need to allow enough time to get there. Definately like the idea of freshening up a bit before the show.
