Bus Drivers

I am considering whether to go to a face to face interview for a full time bus driver position. Starting wage at 10.70/hr. It is lower than I wanted of course, I just can't seem to find if there is a pay scale for drivers after a year or so

It seems that Disney bus drivers get paid nearly $4000 less than bus drivers in Orlando. Wth is that all about? :shrug: I'd think that they would want to be more competetive or at least pay the local average. Orlando bus drivers get paid $24000 a year with Disney's only getting $20000. If they paid the local average it would come to $12.50 an hour.

That seems low for someone who is responsible for the lives of passengers...

Maybe that's the answer to some of these bus/traffic accidents. But all Disney employees are underpaid. For many it's not a "magical" place, but they still give most of us a wonderful experience.

STCU (Union) CMs recieve a 3% raise at the start of the 3rd quarter; in 2013 that's March 31st.

The current contract only extends to 2013, we do not know what 2014 will bring.

PS - starting wage for bus drivers is 10.90.
