Building the Disneyland Railroad H O Scale!

Hi
Im starting to build the Disneyland Railroad to H O Scale
That means I will be using 72 ft. of Track
I am hoping to have all of Mainstreet built to by the end of the year.
I will be putting the Grand Canyon Dinorama in too .
But! I will have a see through top.
So everyone can see it LOL

I was going to use the Train they sell at Disneyland But
someone told me that it`s the Walt Disney World railroad.
so I cannot add that .

I am hoping to have the soundtrack to the Grand Canyon Suite.
But Im not sure what song they use for the Dinosaur area.
Does anyone know?
I will put pics up as I progress.

Sounds cool.But what excactly are you doing.Are you making a model of Disneyland if you are it sounds interesting and can you post pics

I am doing the whole thing Disneyland and all
Including the monorail they sell at Disneyland


Yes I will put pics up..
I was at the park last week taking Pics of the Engine
One of the Cast Members let me go to the front and talk to the engineer and take pics.
That was So Cool

Tigggrl Helped me take pics of Mainstreet
I will probably Scan the pics and enlarge them to size
then cut the fronts out and glue them to the cardboard buildings Im building.

Best of luck on your project! I have an extensive HO collection myself, do a search for the Disneyland RR at Google and look for the Carolwood Society, I think its the name but its been a few years ago when I saw a modeler that actually built a miniature DL railroad with a somewhat detailed DL in the middle. Carolwood are the ones that restored Walts locos that were bought from all over, one I think was a Mexican mine train even.

Well!!!
After visiting the park Today
I hit the Jackpot!!
Thanks Tracy (a Lead at Mainstreet Station)

She made copies of a CM Guide of the Disney Engines/RailRoad
lines and the History of each engine and Passenger cars.
This will help me out in my Ventures of building my version of the DRR

The bkgd music for Primevial World came from some movie that slips my memory right now. I think I got the audio file from #disney-central. If you can't find it there, PM me and I'll see if I can dig through my files for you.

Wow!! This Task is harder then I thought...
Well at least I did get my Train board I still need my Engine and coal /tender car
I have 1 cattle car butchard and turned into a sight seeing train.:xmas:
