Building site near Contemporary Resort

Hi there,

Does anyone know whats being built along side the contemporary resort? Just on the right as you come out - can see it whilst on the monorail?
Are they just extending the resort?

We watched some demolition when we were there in March. We had stayed in that wing on our visit to the Contemporary.

Hasn't been a rumor for awhile as far as I know...follow the link above if you haven't already. The wing was totally gone when we left WDW on St Patrick's Day.

I know about the demolition....I just did not think they had "officially" announced it was going to be a Disney Vacation CLub. I know before they announced the Animal Kingdom Lodge that there was alot of speculaiton that the Contemporay was going to be the next DVC....but it ended up being AKL instead. I just want to know if it is "official" yet or still a rumor that the new building will be DVC.

From what I heard from several pod casts, including Inside the Magic!, that there is not going to be a Contemporary DVC anytime soon.
