Neat! That looks like it could be fun, I bet you could use the pattern and dimensions for a Ginger Bread House.

Actually the guy who runs the site did make a GINGERBREAD MANSION, but it's the PHANTOM MANOR. It's a great site, and the models are amazing! I've built the WDW as well as the DL versions. Just amazing!

Those do look neat, I simply dont have the patience for things like that though. I know someone that does scale models of buildings for an architectural firm and he always jokes that I can build the actual building but am amazed by his models!

That's cool! I would not be good at that - but my brother in law builds models for a living. He's an architect, but he specializes in the models. I'm going to see if he can make one of these if he's got some spare time.

Has anyone tried actually building this? I'd like to see how successful anyone else was before using up precious ink and paper...

I think I might have to attempt this gingerbread style at Halloween time! Would be a great decoration for the porch while kids come to get candy.

I made WDW and DL models. They come out FANTASTIC. They require a lot of work and delicate cutting, but they are very accurate and all the pars fit nicely. I would download one of the simpler models, like the crypts, pillar or gates and build those first. That will give you an idea of how well they come out. Also, there are pictures on the site of a bunch of peoples models.
