Buffet's and Dining Plan

Hello All...
I have questions regarding buffets and DDP.
Specifically...I have a 5 y/o and a 2 y/o so....
At CRT and Ohana's which are plated all you can eat meals, do I have to pay for my 2 y/o? I know at traditional buffets (CM, CP etc.) they do not charge for those under 3, but how do the plated resturants work in this situation?

And...at the buffets (CRT, CP, CP) do I have the option of paying for the kids, or are they automatically placed on the dining plan?

Thanks

You do not have to pay for a 2 year old at any of the buffet restaurants, including the pre-plated/family style restaurants.

Are you buying the Dining Plan? In that case you will have to buy it for the 5 year old but not the 2 year old. Everyone in your room must be on the dining plan.

If you are not using the Dining Plan you will still have to pay for everyone over the age of 3 who goes into the buffet restaurants.

Hope I answered your questions, I had a little trouble figuring out exactly what you are asking.

I think I can figure out what you're saying with the last question: yes, you can ask to just pay for the kids' meals out-of-pocket and not use a dining plan credit for their meals. For a place like Ohana (or any other buffet/family style place), it makes good sense to do it that way!! :)

I kept hearing that they were going to change the "loophole" and start to make distinctions between child and adult table service credits, but I haven't heard anything about it yet... *shrug*
