Bud&BBQ

Wanted to start planning for dates off at work to hit the concerts for Bud& BBQ weekends this year. Has anyone heard anything about who will be there? Only thing I could find out was the dates scheduled for 2008 are [FONT=&quot]February 16, 23 and March 1 & 8, 2008.

Got the planner for the spring months ......
Sea World concerts for Bud and BBQ weeks are:

2/16-- Trisha Yearwood
2/23 Creedence Clearwater Revisited
3/1 Craig Morgan amd Pat Green
Joe Nichols and Jason Michael Carrell

They are having Bud&BBQ at Bush Gardens this year, too. Concerts there are on Sundays.
2/17 Sara Evans
2/24 Styx
3/2 Clay Walker
3'9 Gary Allen

Free admission with pass of any kind. Food is really good. Have to get to concerts early and stand in line to get the best seats but stadium is big and can see stage pretty well from any area.

We have always had fun and met a lot of people going to the concerts. You really end up not doing a lot of the rest of the park so if you plan to see a concert plan a 2nd day for the regular shows.

FYI, last year, the Bayside Stadium (where Sesame St Show is) is usually full by 4 pm on show days, with the line forming at the open of the park. If you want to go, get there early and plan to sit or stand in line until they open the stadium.

Can't remember? Is there Platinum seating area reserved for the concerts? How bout if you eat the special meal between 12-5 when they have the all you can eat meal? If you do that it would be impossible to be in line for the concert?

I don't think they do Platinum seating for the BBQ shows, mainly because majority of the people in the park for the concerts have passes of some type!

I have no clue about the lunch and waiting in line. Sorry.
