Bring Stroller or Not for Fantasmic?

Hi all,

We would like to take the boys to Fantasmic! in January. They will be 2 at that point. Do you think we should bring the stroller or go without? It seems like a pain in the butt to finagle strollers at the Hollywood Hills Amphitheater, so we could possible try just going to DHS for the evening and do without the stroller. Assume we are staying at a resort that requires a bus trip back. And also realize we have one of those double-wide strollers.

We are also considering the Fantasmic! dining package to make things easier, but the times kind of suck that time of year--as early as noon and as late as 3:30 pm. Our boys have lunch closer to 11 so they can take a nap by 1, so noon isn't realistic and who eats dinner at 3:30? I guess that's the trade-off for having Fantasmic! at 7 pm, a time 2-year olds could actually reasonably still by awake for the show.

I couldn't imagine taking a 2 year old without a stroller! We have done the parks with a double (when mine were ages 2 and 4) and even though it's hard, it's still worth it to have a place for them so you're not literally carrying them the whole time. We took a stroller to Fantasmic on our recent trip (just a single for the younger one) and the stroller parking wasn't difficult at all. We did sit and wait for the crowd to thin out before getting the stroller (which also made it easier to find since we weren't in the huge mass trying to leave at first). I'd highly recommend the stroller, even if it is a double.
