Is it just me or does anyone else miss this sound effect leading up to the Haunted Mansion? Its been turned off a long time now (someone correct me if wrong, but for the last couple years maybe more its been off, and Im there fairly regularly). What was the reason for removing it? It certainly can't cost them much to run a sound effect that was original and part of the attraction experience. Just more details like this keep getting taken away and lessening the experience.

Hmmmm.... my guess is the Save the Wolves organization protested that portraying wolves in an unkindly way was unjust and could cause further harm to those innocent wolves that dont howl. So woke Disney folded and shut down the sound that was pleasurable to the majority and did what the minority wanted. :p:p:p

My guess is an issue with the sound system running the audio for the attraction. That or the volume controls were adjusted in a funky way.. oddly enough, issues like this seem to happen more often that not.. never understood that. You’d think all the audio levels would stay at the levels they were originally intended to be when it opened if all the audio engineering was finalized properly. It’s one thing to realize late in the game that the audio wasn’t engineered or mastered properly and then, in that scenario, going and correcting it.. but then it brings up the question as to why they wouldn’t have properly listened to & tested all the audio levels first before opening it to make sure everything was optimal. But yeah.. anyway.
