We were standing in line to meet Miss Bunny outside of the Pizzafari refurb worksite and out comes a bunch of imagineers and right away I noticed in the middle of Joe. Can't miss him with the hawaiin shirt and multitude of earrings. I politely say "Hey Joe!" he stops and comes over and I said thank you for all the awesome work your doing here in AK, shakes my hand and my wife's hand and politely says he has a meeting to go to. Quick little interaction but he didn't have to stop or even acknowledge us but he was very kind and respectful. That the was within the first hour of the first day of our trip. I was hoping leading up to our trip I would get a chance to meet him but I had heard he was out in CA working on something. When we got to AK that morning I though the chance of seeing him was probable as that was the first day they were installing the floating mountains. Check one thing off the bucket list!
