Bricks on Main Street?

I've been to MK many times but after I visited DL, I noticed something. MK has red concrete sidewalks (with what looks like rocks mixed in) and DL has the nice brick sidewalks. Has MK ever had the brick sidewalks? Could it be because MK gets more traffic that they opted for a more durable surface compared to the bricks? I love the brick sidewalks and truly wish they'd convert them over at MK. It's one of those details that would make all the difference in my opinion.

I'm pretty sure Disneyland's Main Street underwent a massive repaving process a few years/decades back, during which they introduced the bricks to the sidewalks. I know Main Street didn't start off that way. I agree that MK would do well to get a similar refurbishment.

I did not know that. I hope MK gets this too at some point. It's become a personal eye sore for me but I'm wierd that way.

I saw a Tony Baxter interview where he references that they started replacing the cement at DL Main St. in sections and completed in a few years ago.
