Brian Bedford, voice of Robin Hood, has passed away

I honestly can't believe this. Robin Hood is one of the few movies I remembered watching as a child and the movie that acted as my gateway into loving Disney animation at around this time last year. It's still one of my top ten Disney movies of all time, and Brian Bedford voicing the titular fox was a big part of that experience. While many voices from the movie are admittedly out of place, Brian Bedford's voice as Robin Hood helped redeem the movie.

The director of Zootopia (Byron Howard) just made a tweet about his death. I'm having a feeling this film might have a dedication for him during the credits. Especially since he mentioned Disney's Robin Hood was the inspiration for Zootopia.

I'm a bit surprised and honestly slightly annoyed that Disney did not even give a single acknowledgement on any of their social media pages. I guess that's what happens when Disney forgets about one of their movies...
