Its is 12 midnight here on Long Island and there is a hostage situation. 6 people are being held hostage in Staples, 3 minutes from my house. There are 4 helicopters flying over. The main streets are closed down. It is very freaky. There are 4 armed robbers holding up the place. I feel so badly for the people inside the store.

I know how that feels...living in north miami (and between 2 police stations) subjects me to the sounds of cop helicopters all the time...I cant begin to tell you how many "man hunts" have gone down in my neighborhood...its always freaky...

Thanks Maria, I think I will take your advice. Wow, nowinc, this is making my stomach turn and can't imagine what you see and deal with. This is a crazy world. I really hope the theory of what comes around goes around happens.

I like in a little po town, so nothing happens here. Except the city next door was the number one murder capital in michigan or something for a while.
