My favorite breakfast a disney is at Trattoria al Forno...this one in particular. I'm not a big breakfast eater in the first place but a lot of the people I travel with are so I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for other venues and dishes that have more savory items like this. I'm just not big on things like pancakes, french toast, and pastries all the time.

Be Our Guest has a similar meats and cheese breakfast option. Other places offer steak and eggs but I can't remember which ones. I remember seeing them when I was planning our breakfast reservations. I'm not a big fan of breakfast (at least not in the morning LOL) and my favorite place has been Tusker House. They had all of my husband's favorite breakfast foods but enough variety to keep me happy. I loved the option of trying something other than pancakes, waffles, and French toast :) But they had those too for people wanting the typical American breakfast foods.

The salmon-and-egg sandwich from Kringla Bakeri at Norway makes for a hearty breakfast, as well as the savory pastries, quiches, and croque monsieur from Les Halles in France. I'd also recommend the ham-and-cheese stuffed pretzel from Gaston's Tavern.

When I read the subject of this thread, my brain immediately went to Trattoria al Forno. I'm also not a fan of sweets, especially at breakfast time, so I know how you feel.

I also really enjoyed the breakfast buffet at Cape May cafe. They have a number of really nice savory dishes (chorizo and cheese scrambled eggs, anyone?) as well as sweet offerings (including a made-to-order sweet crepe station).

While you can get your traditional pancakes and waffles at Tusker House, they also serve some very interesting dishes, like quiche, blintzes, and even a carving station with fresh ham. And that Jungle Juice - very tasty!!!

That sandwich from Norway was one of the best things I've ever eaten...*drool*

Boma has changed the breakfast menu. I don't see anymore pastries, scrambled eggs, or bacon listed. We went there every time we went to Disney....no more for us. It's expensive with all the items that have been removed. And the bobootie is no longer on it's menu, along with the tomato spicy dish. So little for so much money....

I hope that's a mistake. What the heck is breakfast without bacon and eggs!?!?
