Breakfast for DD

Hello! We're going in a few weeks for our first trip to WDW with our DD. She's 1 and LOVES Mickey and Pooh so we're really, really excited! Anyway, I'm having a hard time figuring out what to do about her breakfast. We're eating one morning at Crystal Palace, so I know she'll just eat there, but at home she has warm Oatmeal and Bananas every morning. Should I try and bring that for her? I'm not sure about warming it up without a microwave though. She's up early so I know we'll be heading into the parks first thing, but her "breakfast time" is when we'd probably be on a bus! I'm trying to figure out the best way to be flexible but still get her food she likes when she needs it. Should I just purchase something at the food court? We're staying at POR. We've never stayed there before. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

There will be a microwave at the resort you can use (probably in the food court area....I've never been to that resort) if you choose to bring her oatmeal from home. My DD also ate warm oatmeal for breakfast at that age, and I brought it for her to eat at Disney on the days we did not eat breakfast at a restaurant.

We stayed at FQ this summer. I brought cereal bars and granola bars with me. They made for a nice breakfast/snack in the mornings. We did this when we didn't have breakfasts at the food court. DS's breakfast times was exactly when we had planned to be in transit to the parks in the mornings. If they were up early enough we went to breakfast if not we ate a granola bar at the bus stop and a ceral bar a little while later. This kept them happy until lunch

There will be a microwave at the food court so make sure you bring some oatmeal packets.

One bit of advice with a one year old - don't think the "schedule" will stick when you are there. The excitement is so over whelming, that it's hard to say they are going to do something at a certain time. Remember, you are on vacation. If she wants to eat at a different time, let her. When you get back home, go back to the schedule.

As for the food, my daughter had her normal breakfast items, but I find she is always willing to try something at breakfast, because that is what everyone else eats. You might be surprised! Her first trip I packed tons of food that I ended up taking back home.

Enjoy the trip though!
