Breakfast Dining Plan Query

Hi all,

Does anyone have any experience of / information about a QS breakfast dining plan? We have this included as part of our reservation, but we are unsure of the details and are having difficulty finding out. This was part of a UK package.

Ideally, we'd like to know if credits will need to be used during 'breakfast hours', will they carry over if not used and can they be used at any QS location?

Any and all information appreciated and welcomed :)

Welcome to the Forum!

Certainly when we went in 2015 with the breakfast offer we used them whenever.

On the 2018 offer (http://www.disneyholidays.co.uk/walt-disney-world/deals/free-dining-in-2018/042/) it calls it a Quick Service Meal Voucher in the T&C's.
Disney's system doesn't seem to know or care what time it's used.

You're allocated all of your dining plan credits at the start of your stay and they can be used at any point during your stay at any Quick Service restaurant.
The credits are allocated to your room so if there were two people in the room you'd see 28 credits (assuming a 14 night stay).

Do make sure you use them all before you leave, I believe you can still convert a Quick Service credit into 3 snacks (in a single transaction) but hopefully someone can confirm that...

We're going in October and planning to use them for lunch/dinner as it works out as better value generally.

@Riddick thank you so much! That's all of the things I was hoping to hear and very helpful. We had hoped to use the credits on lunch/dinner, as you suggested, so that would be perfect.

When using QS on snacks, do you just select snacks that are snack credit eligible and then ask when paying to use a QS credit? We were hoping to do this at some of the Food and Wine stalls, but, from what you've said, we would have to buy three snacks at the same time from the same location? Not a problem, but would be good to know for planning purposes!

Thanks again!

Not a problem @Pascal

Yes the snacks would have to be purchased from the same counter at the same time as you can't split a credit in half or anything like that.
So for F&W it would have to be three snack credit eligible items from the same stall purchased all together to use your Quick Service credit.

Annoyingly I'm currently on a train and can't find any official wording from Disney on this but various blog sites seem to suggest that the use of credits like this is still a valid option for 2017.
Probably worth asking the CM before you order though just in case. (Or if someone else on the forum can confirm!)

We were able to get 3 snacks for a QS meals credit at multiple locations. We used our last credit this morning actually. Snacks for the plane ride home :(. We're home now, already planning for summer of 2018 :).
