I don't know if there is a thread about this movie but it's not out until August here in UK so I am wondering what the movie is like? Anyone seen it yet?

Honestly, it wasn't what I expected. It was good...just didn't imagine the chain of events occuring like they did.

Overall, it is a good flick, but not our favorite Disney movie. I don't want to give anything away about the storyline, though. I'm sure you will enjoy it!

I loved the move. The animation and music wwereincredible, it had a great story and the typical Pixar mix of kid and adult humor. From a "father of three girls that wants his kids to grow up with a spine" perspective, I think the movie should be required viewing for every girl on the planet.

Its an amazing film! Went and saw it when over at the World last week, because we couldn't wait until August 3rd. Really, really enjoyed it. Loved the fact me and my sister were probably the only people able to understand the Doric - and its not even that thick for Doric.

I loved it. It wasn't greater then I expected it to be but it also wasn't a let down. The animation and music were beautiful and the movie defiantly picked up in the second half. It doesn't compare to Walle or Up but it was still good.

Couldn't agree more with this, being a father of 2 girls. Glad that both of mine have been obsessed with this movie, have seen it twice, and ask to see it again.
I loved the movie and have been fairly surprised to see it get some middling reviews. I am starting to think that there are some reviewers that have been waiting so long to see Pixar fall that they are actively trying to force it into being by giving bad reviews for their films (not that Pixar didn't throw fuel on that fire themselves with Cars 2.)

We loved it. We've seen it three times and my daughter wants to go a fourth. I feel that the expectations of critics have risen too high... not every Pixar movie needs to be Academy Award calibre. Brave has engaging characters and great music and is wonderful for mothers and daughters (a first for Pixar.)

I really liked it, but it wasn't what I expected from a Pixar movie. I agree with the reviews that it seems more like a Disney movie than a Pixar movie. Not a bad thing at all (really, the movie is great! And I agree it's one all little girls should see), just caught me off-guard. Hope you enjoy it!

I have watched this movie. But kung fu panda 2 movie is much better movie than this. The story of kung fu panda 2 is much better than this movie.

We really liked this movie. I consider it a must see and a must own. The 5 year old grand-daughter absolutely loved the movie. She laughed and carried on through the whole thing, and then wanted to go back and see it again.
