Brain Freeze - park hopping question

I'm having a complete brain fart at the moment. Since it's been about 10 years since I've actually used Disney bus transportation (I usually rent a car) are there busses that run from MK to AK? I know you can take the monorail from MK to EPCOT and a boat from EPCOT to MGM, but I'm wondering about getting to AK. I'm GUESSING you take the monorail to TTC and then a bus to AK?

Unfortunately, you can't take a bus from Park to Park.. In order to take a bus to another park, you'd have to take a bus to a resort, then to the park you'd like to visit next. Hope this helps.. OOps forgot about the TTC..

There seems to be a lot of confusion about this today but you absolutely CAN take a bus directly from MK to AK. In fact, I did just that on my last trip in January. Hope this helps!

Actually, you can get a bus from park to park. I stayed off-site last January and the hotel bus service dropped us off at epcot and we had to get the bus from epcot to the next park. We had no problems, there are stops for each park at each of the other parks.

If you want to go to downtown disney then you will need to go to a resort first.

The confusion may involve the Resort bus stop at MK. The bus stop by the MK gate does only have MK to Resort Routes. If you want to go from MK to another park you have to go to the TTC bus stop and there you can catch a bus to one of the other 3 parks . If you want to go park to park from one of the other 3 parks use the regular bus stops. Hope this helps

They recently changed that, you can take a bus from park to park! Its a total blessing, no more waisted time... Even though, what time at Walt Disney World is wasted, its all good!

Just to clarify: at Epcot, MGM and Animal Kingdom the park-to-park bus stops are all located in the same general area as the resort busses. However, for Magic Kingdom you must first take the monorail/ferry to the TTC and then catch a park bus from there.
