Being a Boy Scout doesn't mean you only get to go camping. I wish my troop had gone to Disney World when I was a kid.

There may have been a Jamboree going on down in Florida or something.

I actually just found the answer.

"Disney Scout Spirit Days gives Boy and Girl Scout troops the opportunity to meet merit badge requirements on Walt Disney World® learning adventures."

You get a merit badge for going to Walt Disney World!?

Do you have to complete tasks like:

*Navagating the bus system blindfolded.
*Locating all the popcorn carts on your map.
*Knowing the difference between Chip and Dale.
*Successfully trading out every pin on your lanyad.

where did you find the info? as a Girl scout mom/leader I am curious how much it costs (translate into how many boxes of thin mints do we need to sell per girl to go?) This is something I would be interested in! thanks for the info.

Those are funny, but I'm pretty sure they'd be earning legit badges. Probably some type of animal-related badge at Animal Kingdom, for example.
