Boy Character Meal Petition

hello all. i am new to WDWMagic. from the beginning of summer right up to this very moment, i have been working very hard on earning 1,000 signatures to convince the Walt Disney World Company on having boy character meals. wouldn't it be nice to have breakfast with "Peter Pan", lunch with the gang from "Tarzan" and dinner with the gang from "Toy Story"? i have read many posts at different Disney message boards about how people would love character meals for the boys, especially the parents are requesting this. i'm doing my best to reach 1,000 signatures to let WDWC know this is what the paying costumers want.
at this very moment, i have 896 signatures. the signatures used to come in massive numbers daily but since school started, the signatures have been coming very slow. for example, i used to see the numbers jump from 20 signatures on one day and 30 the next day. now, i'm lucky if i reach 10 signatures by the end of the week.
so hopefully, with your help, i will be able to reach my goal of 1,000 signatures before the end of the year. so please, go to this website http://www.petitiononline.com/wdw929/petition.html and sign up today! i really need your help if i plan on sending this letter and signatures out before the end of the year.

I totally understand what you're saying, and it's a great idea, but I guess i'm allowed to put in my $.02 right? Right now, the Disney Princesses have been EXTREMELY profitable for the company, and there was a point and time where Disney was promoting all of the heroes (Buzz, Aladdin etc.) and it actually wasn't too long ago. But, i'm assuming because it wasn't as profitable they decided to get rid of it. That's great that you're making a petition, and i'm not here to burst your bubble or anything but Disney is going to do what's most profitable right now for the company. If that means charging $200 for an all out Princess breakfast then so be it. There are many character breakfasts that I wish were back right now (Villians etc.) and some I think that should be created instead of creating more with just the "Fab 5" Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pluto and Goofy (Sometimes substituting Chip and Dale). Great idea though, let me know how it goes!

I have a co worker who is there right now with his 2 kids. I mentioned that I was going a few weeks ago he he told me about his trip. I told him about the Character breakfasts that we were going to and he asked if they had any for boys. I couldn't think of any. I would think that a toy story breakfast would do well. :hammer:

While I personally wouldn't pay to eat with Tarzan (or Terk etc), a meal with the Toy Story characters has great appeal and great possibilites - judging by the success of the films and the ride in MK. I doubt Disney will do little other than to acknowledge your petition, but I wish you success and I will look forward to eating my next character dinner with Buzz and Woody

No Matter how many sigs you get, Disney is just going to tell you that they can't accept your ideas.

Of course they aren't going to accept it, because if they do indeed create a boy character meal, tinkerbela can come back and sue them for using her idea and not crediting her in some way. They might cover themselves by thanking her and telling her that "they are already looking into it". But, maybe this will show them what an interest there is in Boy character meals, and they can furthur develop this idea.

Some character groups could be unisex, such as Peter Pan, with Peter, Wendy, Cap. Hook and Smee, as well as Toy Story

I will sign it for you. I do think there are ones now that can be for boy and girls (Liberty Tree Tavern Dinner, Chef Mickey's, etc) but none that are geared just for boys. The thing is I don't think it will matter as girls would still go to a Peter Pan, Tarzan or Toy Story meal. Boys on the other hand would tend to push back on the Princess stuff.

Who would want to eat with Tarzan?!?!?!?!?! I would think he would stink!
And as for Toy Story meals... They could make the food either look like plastic or, look like it was made out of Play-Doh!! That would just add to the character experience!! j/k of course.

I would love a breakfast/lunch/dinner with the Villains! I never knew they did this!

I would love to see something aimed more towards the boys/guys (heh...I'm 24 and would love it!) Peter Pan and Aladdin are my favorite movies! You could do something along the lines of Peter Pan, Aladdin, Hercules, Stitch, Prince Phillip, and Tarzan. Heck they could even bring in Capt. Jack Sparrow!!!! They could do something similar to the Disney Adventures line that they have at the Disney Stores that is aimed at boys.

I think it is a great idea to have a character meal for boys. It does seem that a lot of the character meals are geared more towards girls. I will be happy to sign your petition.

I also wish they would bring back the Villains meals. I never had the chance to experience it. As I understand, the problem was that it wasn't well announced that the characters would be all villains and some of the young guests were overly scared. My sons were always satisfied with Mickey and crew or the Pooh gang.

I would also like to see a wider variety of characters at meals. As others have stated there are so many that could be featured. Why can't the Studios have a Muppet Meal ?
