is it the only way that you can get a bounce back is by booking BEFORE YOU LEAVE.. I mean, at least give us 90 days or 60 days, or even 30 days.. to make a decision, and come up with dates.. because, with in less then a month.. we know when we are coming back.. but couldn't decide while we were on base.. GEESS..

Yup, gotta do it before you leave. Just one of the perks they give guests who are already there...I always have some dates in mind before we go, and then see what they have available from those dates. Always book knowing that may cancel later.

I booked six trips this year using bounce-back during a visit last year. I've already decided on two trips for next year. Next year's WDW trip will be booked using bounce-back when I have the opportunity. My Cali trip for the D23 Expo will obviously not have bounce-back available. If I happen to find a reason to add more WDW trips next year, I'll book them as well.

I always plan well enough ahead that I can take advantage when the opportunity presents itself.

It is in the welcome papers they give you. It is a discount offer on your next trip. You must book it while you are there to receive the discount... Ranges from room discounts to free dining offers.

I do not think i've taken the time to read through the packet. I will do that in August. I know I am planning a graduation vacation in January.

In years past, the offer was a clock themed pamphlet found on table in your room. Last year, it was a small square insert buried in the welcome packet.

Yes, but mine said that I could only book through Dec. 31st of the same calendar year- and it was already mid-August. If I could book anytime within a year of my current stay, I'd be happier.

What is a bounceback before you leave? I've never seen it or likely missed it
Check out the entire booklet they give you at check in. It used to be in a packet in the room but last year ours was in the booklet they give you at check in, if I remember right. It is usually a package deal, not a room offer. So, two hundred down will hold a deal.

Thanks I will look out in August. Granted I always say "this will be my last trip for a year" and I end up booking another vacation 3 months later :)

We never get these offers in our room when we go. If we did... if we always go in Nov, could we book the BB for the following November? Or does it have to be before then? I did not know you could change your dates after booking too.. you can change them without losing the discount whether its a room discount or free dining?

Bounce back offers are never a "sure thing." I have called to inquire (when I found no offer in the literature) and have been told there was no bounce back offer at that time. Also, not every date of the year is available under a bounce back for a future vacation; most of the summer and major holiday periods are blacked out.

Indeed, it does pay to seek out a bounce back when you are at Disney; however, I just want to keep people's expectations realistic.
