Years ago I shot and edited together a high quality video of Aladdin: A Musical Spectacular. I never really finished it because whenever I watched it, I'd find something I could improve. So I worked on it from time to time but never published it. I haven't actually worked on it in years.

Recently, I've had some extra time on my hands (guess why) so I dusted off the hard drive and watched the show. I'd forgotten how entertaining it was.

So even though there are more things I could fix I decided instead to put it on YouTube to help entertain other folks. Let's face it. We need entertainment at this point.

So anyway, here it is.

Yea, I remember when the carpet flipped. Stunt Jasmine was not happy about it.

There was another show when the wire rig which lifted Aladdin dragged one of the Aladdins across the stage and I think he hit part of the set. The Aladdin was okay. I don't know if there's video on that one. I asked one of the ushers I knew about it and he said it was a something-something reset. I can't remember the something-something part but I liked the fact that there was a name for this sort of thing.

Speaking of issues during the show, we were at a show where Jasmine was running back to Aladdin (right before the A Whole New World section) and as she got to the back of the stage where Aladdin is standing, her top fell off. There is also video of her running back, tripping and going headfirst into the set. The show was then stopped.

I was there. He was lifted up into a second-storey window, then fell, swinging down and across the stage on his wire, then crashing into some scenery. They stopped the show. I heard he was ok.

I actually really enjoy the Frozen show. Has some neat effects and it's decently entertaining.
