We're starting to plan our first trip to Universal -- but it won't take place until a over a year from now, at the end of April 2018.
We are AAA members and supposedly there are "discounts" available if I book my tickets through AAA, but I wanted to ask if anyone has experience with this:
1 - Is it much cheaper to book your tickets (and/or tickets + onsite hotel package) through AAA, or is the discount going to mimic what I'd find at Undercover Tourist?
2 - What is currently required to take advantage of onsite AAA discounts at Universal restaurants and shops that offer them (do I need a special voucher proving I booked through AAA, or just my AAA card)?
3 - If I book through AAA, is it a big hassle if a discount offer comes out and I have to have them cancel and rebook later? Is there a particular time period (3 months out, 6 months out, etc.) where I can be satisfied that it's "safe" to book because all possible special offers have already been released?
Many thanks for your help!
