Booking tickets and room on different sites. Will this effect them being linked to my magic band?

Hello all. I'm travelling from the UK in June, and wondered that if I booked my travel, tickets and room independently, would this cause issues? The reason I ask is that I'm able to find the exact same hotel and airline combination for cheaper elsewhere.

The reason I asked is that if I booked a Disney resort hotel through another site, would my tickets and room key not be linked? Or other things such as any MM+ or related experiences.

You should be able to link the separate components to your My Disney Experience account, which is what the MagicBand reads. If you go to https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/link/ you can link your room reservation and tickets.
