My family booked our WDW Christmas vacation through Expedia, and now I'm starting to think this wasn't such a good idea.
I just found out that Expedia customers cannot get the Disney dining plan no matter what -- even if you are staying at a Disney Resort all week and bought a 7-day Park Hopper pass.
This was extremely disappointing to me and now I'm starting to wonder about what other problems I'm going to run into.
For instance, I was told that we could still use the Magical Express service. However, when I entered our flight information on the Magical Express website the only Hotel confirmation number I had was from Expedia. Will Disney's system still recognize this as a valid hotel reservation or will it dump all our information since it can't recognize an Expedia confirmation number?
Also, we're travelling with extended family members and want their room adjacent to ours. When they booked their room (through the Disney website) they requested a room connected to ours. Will Diseny still be able to give us connecting rooms even though we didn't book our rooms together or even with the same company (we booked through Expedia, they booked through Disney)?
Lastly, if anyone else has booked a Disney vacation through Expedia, are there any other potential problems that we could run into or that I should be aware of? Thanks!
