Booking at CB

My dad just booked our vacation tonight at Caribbean Beach from 12/26 (my 21st bday) to 1/4! YEAH!!!!

Problem is that during Holiday time the moderates have a price tag in the deluxe range...$234/night plus all taxes!! (water views only for us)

i know to check mousesavers for some discount codes...anyone out there have any other ideas to get this pricetag lowered as it would be highly appreciated. anything to bring up or mention on the phone?

this past christmas they did a savings thing called the Funshine savings i think.. When we booked originally at the Port Orleans we found this packaged and rebooked at the GF for the same price and days as what we were paying for the PO.. Maybe they'll offer that..

It's probably too early for discounts of any kind to be announced for December.

If the economy stays bad (don't EVEN get me started on that one!) there just may be discounts for Peak season in December.

You might conside 2 reservations. Value season begins Jan 1. I would make one reservation for Dec 26-31 and another for Jan 1-4.

Thanks YS....he did make the double reservation...thats our only "discount" as of now...last year we went for the same time period so we knew that much

but 234/night for a moderate...they dont decorate THAT much
