Hi everyone,
I've found some good deals on flights to Orlando with Orbitz. But are they a reputable company. I Just don't want to get scammed as I've read some negative stuff on the internet about them.

Many thanks

Jon

p.s. Their website i've been looking at is www.orbitz.com

haha so I guess if I just book a flight I should be fine?.

I just want to be REALLY REALLY sure before I book. I want to take my girlfriend to disneyland florida as a surprise christmas present, so it would be terrible if I got to the airport and they said my ticket wasn't valid or something.

You could also look on kayak.com.

But honestly, what I do is use these travel sites to find the best flight/price and then I book directly with the airlines. It usually saves some money because of the fees tacked on by the site.

Yes, Orbitz is 100% legit. They purchase or have access to bulk wholesales rates on hotel and airfare - so you will see one price one day, and that deal could be gone the next. Once their allocation is gone, it's gone.

But anyway, they're equally as reputable as Expedia or Travelocity. You're safe, but grab the deal when you see it, or it'll be gone!

I usually use Orbitz for a price comparison, and call the hotel/airline and book direct once I’ve found the best deal. However, occasionally, you’ll find a Orbitz.com ONLY deal, and you have to book through them, and we’ve done that in the past as well. Never had a problem with the site, and as far as accommodations, etc. most hotels/resorts have pictures, maps, info, etc. so you can see what you’re looking to purchase before you commit.

Good Luck.
