Booked today for October

OK, so this is not the most thrilling thread you will read all day, but I booked today for October 8-15. I guess I just have a really, really bad case of Disneyitis and wanted to share it with you guys. Folks at work get a kick out of my fondness for Disney, but I know that you guys REALLY understand what's it's like to be addicted!

I will tell you though, and this is from experiance, but please don't let it dampen you enthusiasm in going.

We have gone durning this exact time of the year a few times, because this is our anaversery (on Oct 12). But happens to coiside with Columbus Day weekend.

I would stay clear of MK on Saturday the 9th. Unless things have changed (when went later in October in 2003 to do the Food and Wine), that Sat has always been super crowded at MK.

The other parks seemed to be fine, but 1 hour or longer waits for most rides just on that day is what we've seen. So do Epcot, AK or MGM that day, unless you don't mind to crowds.
