I have just booked the California Grill in the COntemporary Resort at 9:30pm ready for the fireworks at 10pm

I have now decided to go with the DDP so need to phone and get it added on to our booking.

2 questions:
We are travelling through Vacation Club as they are my fiancees Dad's points we are using (Honeymoon). Can we add on the DDP to our booking?

Do you think it is ok to then phone and amend our California Grill book to a DDP booking? They asked me on the phone if it was a DDP booking and I obviously said no.

I know the obvious answer is phone and find out, but I have to wait until tomorrow to do so.......

Thanks

I am pretty sure you can add the DDP to your DVC reservation. I am not entirely sure though. As far as modifying the dinner reservations...you should have no problem at all. I have modified reservations more than once (no I am not usually that confused) with out any issue at all. I hope you have a great time.

You can definitely add the basic or deluxe dining plan to your DVC reservation. We've done it many times. Your fiancee's Dad has to call to add the dining plan since only DVC members can call member services. Just remember neither plan includes gratuities.

Once you decide you can call the CG to let them know you are on the dining plan. I'm not sure if it's necessary for them to know ahead of time but it might make you feel better if you did.

You do not need to call and tell them ahead of time that you are on the DDP... they will ask you again when you get to the CG. They will probably ask you twice.
