Boo Bash Ticket Question

I recently purchased boo bash tickets off of ebay. The seller sent us the actual tickets(the plastic cards) but have not yet transferred the tickets to us in MDE. I have not heard from the seller in about a week and am starting to fear they will not be transferring the tickets into our MDE.

When I go to add the tickets, it tells me they are attached to another account. My question is, if they don't end up transferring the tickets, can we still use the actual physical ticket? Is that something I should even try? Or just file a claim with ebay, get my money back and wash my hands of it?

Prime example of why you don't buy from ebay....

That seller likely plans to go and has a magic band so does not need the physical ticket.

I recommend you file a complaint with ebay.

You could also call Disney but I see no way that they will be able to assist you in transferring.

IIRC the cards, just like magic bands, are not attached to the actual ticket for which it was "purchased", it's just another RFID media that can be used to reference back to the MDE account to see what ticket are attached to the profile. The first time we purchased MNSSHP tickets, I requested the physical tickets b/c I thought it'd be nice as a back up, but all I got were generic plastic cards (no Halloween theming etc) just the same that we previously had for tickets. Those cards actually still come up today under our "MB & Cards" section on MDE. I keep one those cards active on each profile as a bit of a back up in case we lose MBs/AP cards.

If they haven't transferred you the tickets, and are ghosting you, definitely follow up with ebay.

I would start email bombing them about every 5 minutes demanding that they unlink the tickets from their account. Info eBay fraud control.
