Bonny's WDW Birthday Blitz....

Hi All!!
Well, it's that time! My 36th birthday is December 14th....for those who don't know, my birthday has a really bad history, so hoping htat this year is going to be much better!

First of all I got an awsome surprise, one of my bestest friends is going to be at WDW that same week, so we have 4 days planned together! Here is our schedule, if you are in our neck of the woods, feel free to give us a buzz and say hi!

15th (Thu) MK/VMCP (my gift from Lisa!!!! Thank you!!!)

16th (Fri) Epcot/Candlelight Processional at 6:45 (lunch at Garden Grill with our holiday coupon. MJ loves Chip and Dale, hope this is a hit)

17th (Sat) AK, possibly DtD for a visit to Santa or Resort hopping to see decorations

18th (Sun) MGM (MJ has been begging to see Beast....so as a surprise for her [once you become a parent it is all about your kids, even on your bday! LOL] a special guy set it up for her to get to meet Beast that day, how cool is that?)

I am super excited about this weekend and hope that I'll get to see many of my WDW family during this time! I'll take notes for a trip report but probably won't get to write it until well after we are moved (Jan 21) and MJ's bday (Feb 6)

bonny, id like to hear of your horror stories sometime. i think we might have similar ones...... mine is on Jan. 1. wow, talk about the potential for things to go really bad.

Well, aside from the general people forgetting my bday with Xmas coming up.... you asked for it....

My favorite grandmother died on my birthday, my parents divorce became final on my birthday, my father ususally got drunk for my birthday (and every other day), my grandfather died 4 days after my birthday and my father died ON Christmas....so all in all, not my favorite time of year, but I am trying to revamp it now! :wave:

You are such a sweetheart, I can't wait to meet your family! I hope that MJ and your son get along. As soon as we get things set up for MJ's birthday, I will let you know (I know some CM's are planning some special things for her already!)

As for appreciating the simple things....when you have so many big catastrophic things going on in your life at once, the little things become so VERY important. I am so grrateful for MJ being as good as she is healthwise (we were told she'd be a vegetable) I am grateful for our WDW family and firneds, without you all, we'd truly be alone, It is amazing how much a small thing can do for my mood when things are truly difficult. Thank you Samantha for the part you have played in that I think of you on a daily basis.

OMG...... im sorry if i drudged up any hard feelings.... i thought it would all be friend related or weather etc etc. ok, my previous bdays look pretty good.

It's ok honey, after 36 years I am getting pretty used to it. I think this birthday will prove to be much better, tho I have to amount to a certain amount of dread as the actual day comes up...I hope that with moving last Christmas, Andrew losing his job, a move coming up (Jan 21st), MJ having early symptoms of Schizophrenia, etc that I have used up all of my "bad times" points for this year!

Ummmm, let's see, Lisa will be there around 2, but we'll be there earlier. I think we might go to Buena Vista Place first so I can see a model apartment (Andrew saw, I didn't) I can call you when we are on our way if you like....

I'll know more about moving after this weekend. We will learn Andrew's Bid schedule Friday (I think) and about the truck we are borrowing (what day we can have it specifically) so I will let you know.
