I heard that this hotel is being built on Disney property and Disney doesn't like it. Out of curiousity, what's the situation here?

True. It's on one of the parcels that Walt wasn't able to buy. It's due to open next year. Since for all intents and purposes, Disney IS the government (actually Reedy Creek Improvement District, but it's run by Disney), they have to provide access to the property from the public Disney roadways because that's the only way in or out there. And Disney is most definitely NOT happy about it.
