Bonnet Creek - Couple Questions

I noticed Bonnet Creek is part of the RCI Network. One thing about me is, I am dead set against not staying inside Disney World. I've passed Bonnet Creek's entrance on the way to Downtown Disney. Is Bonnet Creek actually "on property"? How is their transportation to the Disney parks? Is it any further to the parks than Port Orleans or Old Key West?

Bonnett Creek is an island of property surrounded by Disney property.
Last summer, their bus system was horrible. It is suppose to improve with the new hotels that they are building. dunno??

The Bonnet Creek resort area is not Disney owned or operated. It is surrounded by Disney property on three sides, and Interstate 4 on the fourth side. Because there is no access from I-4, Disney has to allow access to the property through its roadways.

I can't say anything about the bus service, as I've never stayed there. Distance wise, it is not much further away that Port Orleans or Key West.
