Boma Breakfast at Animal Kingdom Lodge??

hello everyone

we are going back to WDW 12/4 - 12/7 specifically for the Christmas party and decorations

has anyone had breakfast at Boma's in the Animal Kindgom Lodge?

our plane does not leave until 9:30pm and i did not buy tickets for the last day and thought it might be cool to visit resorts that i have never been to and was thinking of booking breakfast there

Boma's breakfast is great. Every trip would not be complete without breakfast there. Even if we are not staying at AKL we make a trip just for breakfast. You will enjoy it.

how long does it take to get from Animal Kingdom to the Animal Kingdome Lodge? Can you walk it?

absolutely excellent

The Boma breakfast is spectacular - an amazing selection, great flavors, a few semi-exotic offerings, and a very attractive dining area. I would most certainly recommend that you go.

You are also correct that this will be a great opportunity for you to check out the resort, which is beautiful and a lot of fun. You will be able to spend hours touring all of the paths and little 'nooks' with interesting decorations and such. I think you have an excellent plan. Enjoy it. :slurp:

Not a good walk

I would NOT suggest trying that walk - not because its too far, but because I'm not aware of a pedestrian-friendly route - and you don't want to be sharing the roads while you are on foot with distracted tourists in unfamiliar rental cars and all of the Disney buses.

If there was a suitable path, I would estimate no more than ten minutes - but unless someone else is able to identify one ....

i am staying at pop century so the best route i can think of is taking the bus to animal kingdom, then switching buses to get to the animal kingdom lodge

unless there is an easier way to do it

If you eat breakfast at Boma definately get the jungle juice

And yes, walking is certainly not a good idea. If you are at the pop century, it would probably be easiest to go in a cab at the early hour of the morning. Or maybe taking the bus over to Animal kingdom park and then take a bus from the park to the hotel.

we have a res for the 12th so will let you now when we get back off our hols what we thought of it, we have a res for dinner at Boma that evening too
