Bolt Blu Ray at MouseGear

I was in MouseGear the other day and there was a blu ray of Bolt and the sign said the blu ray was in 3D. I assumed at the time that that must just be how the blu ray was distributed and all of them would be the same. However, since leaving WDW, I can't find any information anywhere about a 3D release. Am I losing my mind or is there a sign in the store that say's it's in 3D? If it is there, is it different from the blu ray released everywhere else? Anyone???

I have the Bolt Blu-Ray and I can assure you..........It's not..If it were in 3D it would have supplied the glasses and also have a section to watch it in the 3D format. But all it has is the Blu-ray+Dvd+Digital Copy..Here's the info from Ultimatedisney.com about the disc itself http://www.ultimatedisney.com/bolt.html .Hope this helps.

That's the only info I could find online too. I'm 99% sure the sign in MouseGear said it was 3D though, so I'm wondering if they had some unreleased version. :shrug:

Anyone going to be in Epcot and mind checking that out?

Bolt in Blu-Ray

I figure that you must have seen a poster for the movie which was released in 3D. Or someone messed up the promotion and mistakenly thought that the name of the movie was "Bolt in 3D" because the movie's promotion called it that.

No, what I saw was a sign placed directly on the shelf where the Bolt DVDs and Blu Rays were being sold and it said "DVD is 2D - Blu Ray is 3D." It wasn't a professionally made sign, just maybe something they had printed on the computer. :shrug:

Disney never released it as a 3D Disc. The Offical site doesn't even claim it.

It was released in theaters in Disney 3D and maybe you saw an original movie poster by the display?? Or that was a one day special that we all missed out on??

The signs do stand for "3 Disc." I got excited about it, until I asked a CM.
