Please, for some of you veterans who have made numerous trips to DW. Is BOG worth the wait at lunch for 2 adults with 2 DGD's, ages 14 and 11? They are W-A-Y past the princess stages. As a matter of fact, our trips with them now include texts in the parks, ie., "whr r u?", "leavng Space Mtn". "Grt, meet @ HM 5 min". Is it worth the time to view the interior or should we be content with online pictures of same?

I was there during a relatively busy time (mid-March) and the line went by pretty fast. Took us about 40 minutes to get inside and then another 15 to get our food. I thought it was worth it. :)

We did lunch there twice our last trip. We got in line around 10:40 and were in by 11:10. It went smooth. The only thing that involved waiting and that drove me semi-nuts was people taking 10 minutes to order using the kiosk.

I think it is worth one visit. One. Treat it like a fancy meet and great for the Beast with a bit to eat. The dining rooms are a bit interesting. The food is average theme park on a limited menu. Skip the dessert. I have had far better from the local grocery bakery.

One and done for me and other folks I asked.

The OP asked about lunch, and there are no characters at lunch. We have eaten lunch at BOG in December, May, June and August and our longest wait from end-of-the-line to sitting at our table was 30 minutes. On our last visit we got in line at 11:30 a.m. and were being served our food at 11:45 a.m.!

We have tried most of the offerings on the lunch menu and have been pleased with them all. We also enjoy the ambiance of the restaurant and eating off real plates with real silverware. Servers not only bring your food, but also clean up after you are finished. The prices are comparable with the other quick service places in MK.

Is BOG worth it? For us, yes.

Thanks all! Actually, if we decide to do BOG, it will definitely be the quick service lunch rather than dinner.
Glad to hear the line moves quickly. Thanks for all the feedback.

There are plenty of opinions on BOG. Some seem to love it. Others have called it terrible. Read *all* opinions. Figure out who's opinions sound like ones that you'd have... If the people that like it seem to you to be ones that tend to like most if not all of the Mouses offerings, then if you categorize yourself as that, then you might like it. If not, all those people waiting for it aren't heading over to Kona Cafe for lunch...:)

Food for dinner is OK, I'd have lunch there but I wouldn't wait over 15 mins. Our kids 5 and 8 thought it was neat but no real need to go back.

A number of us have also been able to get in for FP+ testing for BOG. Not sure when you're going, but maybe FP+ will be fully rolled out by that point and you'll be able to get the FP/pre-order your meal.
