BOG during MNSSHP

Our trip starts Sep 26 for 8 nights, which is 180 days from today, and includes DDP. So this morning at 11am UK time (6am EST) I was on my computer ready to book all our ADRs the moment the system opened.

First priority was BOG for dinner on Fri Sep 30, which is when we're planning to attend MNSSHP. Less than 30 seconds after 6am, I'd already established that there were no dinner reservations left for BOG that night, despite the fact it's 184 days in the future! This in itself isn't really a huge surprise. It's bewildering and annoying, but not a shock.

I've previously been quite successful picking up cancelled slots at BOG, but it is a pain in the butt logging in every single day to check.

Then it occurred to me that possibly restaurant availability is different on party nights. In other words, am I potentially wasting my time checking every day?

I don't think anyone's been having success getting a BOG reservation after 6 PM in September right now. Also think that the latest you can make dinner reservations on MNSSHP nights is around 6 or so, since they want all nonparty guests out of the park by 7.

If you're going to check back every day, I'd aim for an earlier time. Good luck!

Thanks, makes sense. Am I right in thinking that 4pm is the time it switches from Quick Service to Table?
