I dont know if your all known Bob the Dolphin that was on loan from TLS and for 3 years was at the National Aquarium in Baltimore, well today he died.

Bob the Dolphin was an experienced, talented and visionary leader who has made crucial and substantial contributions toward Disney. He will be missed.

We were lucky enough to spend a few minutes with Bob and his pal Toby during a ‘Dolphins in Depth’ tour a few years ago, when they were at the <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:place w:st="on"><st1:PlaceName w:st="on">Living</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceType w:st="on">Seas</st1:PlaceType></st1:place>. During the time I spent with them, I had one of the biggest smiles I have ever had and the tape is still able to return that smile. I will always consider that time to be one of my most magical Disney moments.

If you ever get a chance to go on the tour, I highly recommend it.

Edit: On second thought, not the most sensitive thing to say, it really is sad that he died. Not sure what I was thinking when I posted this, I guess I was just in a mood. Sorry. I do seriously wonder if there will be a small memorial to him in TLS?

Awww, that's so sad to hear! I knew he'd been really sick for a long time, but it's sad to hear that he finally passed away. :( I also got my pic with him at Dolphins in Depth. :(

there is something about animals that really touches peoples heart, and this mammal is a perfect example. i hope his spirit is swimming in an endless ocean. RIP
