boats from port orleans to disney springs.

Trip takes roughly about 15 minutes.
It depends on how busy they are as to whether the boat stops at both resorts or just one. During busier periods (often late afternoon/evenings), both Riverside & French Quarter will have their own dedicated boats.
We also discovered they use "floater" boats at times which will simply go where demand is needed. Our floater boat captain at Disney Springs asked us which resort we wanted to go to because we were the only people onboard. He said they do that because sometimes large groups can almost fill up an entire boat, leaving others waiting longer.
It was appreciated.

When I was down there last month, I got on at Riverside and on the way to Disney Springs the driver asked if anyone was going to French Quarter. A family raised their hands so we stopped at French Quarter but had they not, it would have been a direct trip to the Disney Springs dock.

That boat ride is one of the most enjoyable and relaxing parts of my Disney vacation. Hope you enjoy it as well!

When we went there on our honeymoon, many years ago, we stayed at the downtown Disney area hotels. It was our first time staying "on site". We walked to downtown Disney, saw these boats and were oh cool, lets see where this goes. We ended up have dinner at Port Orleans and were like hey lets walk around the property and check it out. Little did we know, it was about to be the last boat back to downtown Disney. We overheard someone say that the last boat was gonna leave soon. We sprinted back to the dock as quickly as we could. We didn't know anything about Disney transportation and it was before rideshares. It was quite an adventure for us.

from then few times we’ve stayed at pofq, the boats were not going to both resorts. as far as the ride, it probably took about 10-15 minutes to get to disney springs & back. depending on when you’re leaving disney springs to get back to your resort, lines could be long for the return boats.

1985... Magic Kingdom... We were dumb. The boat was about to leave and we were ready to be done with the park for the night. So we sprinted to get on before it left. That night we learned the Liberty Belle doesn't go to the TTC. 🤣🤣
