Boatright's?

I'm currently making my ADRs and have seen that Boatright's has been somewhat popular in the Trip reports. Any comments or suggestions on whether it is a worthwhile restaurant to try would be appreciated.

Are you staying at one of the PO? I think it's a fantastic choice if so. I don't know if I'd make a trip out of my way to eat there though.
No we are staying at another resort, but we do like to take the boat from DTD to visit the Port Orleans hotels since they are two of our favorites. We usually eat at the Riverside counter service.

I may be in the minority on this one, but we were not fans of Boatwright's. POR is our "home" resort and we are very happy with everything at the resort, except for the food at Boatwright's. We are probably spoiled because my husband is from La. so we know how the dishes are supposed to taste. The portions are good, but the food was dry and bland. The only good thing we had there was the cornbread and the dessert.

Thanks for the advice. What do you guys think of the mufflaletta sandwich and other of the Louisiana specials at Sassagoula and the Riverside counter services?

Love all the sandwiches from the QS at both. They are big enough to share and they are so tasty! The create your own pasta is also very good!

LOL that was a set up from the start. LA food is amazing. And while disney can make some good rip off dishes - I would never expect real tasting quality food from any area. To disney's credit - the chicken nuggets are amazing and that is about it. Oh yea and the wings and potstickers at Ohana.
