No we are staying at another resort, but we do like to take the boat from DTD to visit the Port Orleans hotels since they are two of our favorites. We usually eat at the Riverside counter service. Are you staying at one of the PO? I think it's a fantastic choice if so. I don't know if I'd make a trip out of my way to eat there though.
If y'all do that typically I'd go ahead and try it!No we are staying at another resort, but we do like to take the boat from DTD to visit the Port Orleans hotels since they are two of our favorites. We usually eat at the Riverside counter service.

I feel ya! We are from TX and feel like that with tex mex placesI may be in the minority on this one, but we were not fans of Boatwright's. POR is our "home" resort and we are very happy with everything at the resort, except for the food at Boatwright's. We are probably spoiled because my husband is from La. so we know how the dishes are supposed to taste. The portions are good, but the food was dry and bland. The only good thing we had there was the cornbread and the dessert.
Thanks for the advice. What do you guys think of the mufflaletta sandwich and other of the Louisiana specials at Sassagoula and the Riverside counter services?I may be in the minority on this one, but we were not fans of Boatwright's.
