boat ride time

How many minutes does it take by boat to go to mgm and epcot from the boardwalk? I do beleive it is faster to walk, but is the boat faster than the bus or just more pleasant?

To go to Epcot it is only 5mins but it only takes 2mins to walk.
MGM you have to stop at the beach club,swan and dolphin and then to MGM. If you are staying at the Boardwalk you can do a quick walk to Swan and Dolphin and catch the boat and then it goes straight to MGM. Same coming back from MGM get off at the swan and dolphin and walk the rest it will save you about 10 mins. It is nicer in the boat than in Busses but to MGM it is faster on a bus.

I actually prefer to walk to MGM from the Boardwalk. It's probably a ten minute walk and if you don't mind walking it isn't too bad. I always hated waiting around for the boats, especially because it looks like they're moving as fast as I walk.

there are no busses from the boardwalk to MGM nor EPCOT except when we have to run one because people exited out the front of EPCOT or missed the last boat at MGM
