Boat from CR to WL?

I can't believe it but I am back three days and already planning another trip! I read somewhere that there is a boat from the Contemporary to the Wilderness Lodge seasonally. Does that mean just in the summer? Thinking of staying at the Contemporary in January and would like to try Artist Point for dinner one night. Any info appreciated.

My experience is the boat runs between the two al the time. The smaller ferry boat to MK from WL stops at Contemp.

We've seen it running in both November (2000) and December (2001). The usually have two boats going. One runs clockwise (Contemporary, Fort Wilderness, Wilderness Lodge) and one runs counterclockwise. Hope this helps.

I think the boat that runs from the Contemporary to the WL is year-round. I've never seen it closed. I know it's open in December and the summer, I would think it's open year-round.
