Boardwalk Villas vs regular hotel

The biggest difference is that you'll have a queen bed with a pull-out sofa bed as opposed to two queen beds. Other than that, it's basically the same thing. You're just on the other side of the building.

So if I am comparing a room at the Boardwalk Inn versus a deluxe studio at the Boardwalk Villas, I would easily choose the the room at the Inn and here's why:
First off, the rooms are bigger at the Inn in comparison to a studio at the villa. Not by much, but I notice it.
Second, there's better sleeping options on the Inn side (two queen beds + one pull-out day bed) in comparison to the Villas (one queen + one pull out sofa).
Third, you get his and her sinks at the Inn versus one at the Villas.
Fourth, thematically, the Inn is far superior in terms of furnishings hands-down.
The only updside to the inn is a small kitchenette area with a microwave and small sink. Nothing crazy.

If you pay cash for a villa you get daily housekeeping. Guests using points do not.

This... just to make sure it isn't missed.
BWV is actually the portion closest to the Clown Pool. The rooms were just redone and look beautiful to me. They also have the murphy bed which my son loves, giving flexibility.
Given the choice of BWV vs not going deluxe for budgeting concerns, I would do BWV in a heartbeat.

I am a little Biased as we are DVC owners at the BWV, Ok we normally stay in a 1 bedroom but we love that side of the resort. We go down the stairs so we are nearly at the DHS or Via the Lobby if we are going to EPCOT, but only you can decide what is right for you as we don't know how many are in your party or what your main priorities are! but here is a link to some great photos and the layout of the Deluxe Studios plus they come with disposable plates and cutlery etc which is listed on the left under guest room inventory. http://dvcnews.com/index.php/resorts/boardwalk-villas/maps-a-photos-94440
