Boardwalk View Requests

Hello,

We are headed down the the World in Oct and have booked a Boardwalk View - 2 bedroom villa.
We can't wait! We have stayed at the Boardwalk before and understand the elevator situation, the walk really doesn't bother us. However this is our first time with a Boardwalk view. We really want the best view possible to hopefully watch some fireworks from the balcony. :) Are there any specific requests that I should put on my reservation? (I understand they are not guaranteed).

Thanks so much!

You'll want to request an upper floor, as trees will block the view from the lower floors. You won't see all of the lower fireworks anyway, just the higher ones. We were just there a few months ago in a Boardwalk view - almost right above Jellyrolls on the 5th floor. Very last room in the hallway, but it really wasn't that long of a walk. Beautiful view day or night!

I looked through a bunch of the pictures online and I think that is the best view. You have the best angle back down the boardwalk, plus great views over EPCOT.

Agreed that a high floor is best too.

This summer we had a 1 bedroom Boardwalk view on the third floor right above the Big River Grille and could easily see Epcot's fireworks. I would suggest the farther away from the elevator the better if your wanting to watch Epcot's fireworks from your balcony. We could also look straight ahead toward the Yacht Club and see the Magic Kingdoms fireworks.

We stayed in a 1 bedroom boardwalk view in 2011. Lowest floor, the view was beautiful and you could easily see Illuminations as well as Wishes in the distance.

Do they play the Illuminations music on the television? We didn't think to try that.

Hope you enjoy!
