Boardwalk via Skyliner

I think I know the answer to this already, but I just wanted to check. I’m planning on driving to Hollywood Studios, and after park close heading to the Boardwalk. I couldn’t take the Skyliner to Epcot and walk to the Boardwalk from there, right? Because I’d have no way to get back to my car in the Hollywood Studios parking lot. So my only option would be to drive to Boardwalk from Hollywood Studios?

As previous poster stated yes there is a walkway between Boardwalk and Hollywood Studios.

It’s paved and well lit and I’ve felt safe walking it way after park close.

So you can walk directly from HS to Boardwalk and back. Or go from HS to Epcot via the Skyliner and then walk from Epcot to Boardwalk and then continue walking back to HS.

Just depends on how much time you have and how much walking you’d like to do. 🙂

You can walk back to the Studios from the BW. It’s not too far and there are sidewalks.
Oh ok that’s awesome! And then I’m fine to leave my car at the Hollywood Studios parking lot an hour or two after park close? They won’t lock the gate or anything?

Unless you have a huge desire to ride the Skyliner, personally, I would drive from HS to Boardwalk so that your car is nearby when your evening is over there. But that's me.

Yup! You’ll be fine as long as you don’t leave it overnight. We have left it and gone to Epcot on days when the Studios closed far earlier. Walked back and drove out no problems.

Are they still restricting parking at Boardwalk Resort to resort guests or those with a reservation? If so then your only option may be to skyliner over and then walk back to your car at HS. It really isn't a bad walk from Boardwalk to HS.
