Boardwalk resort question

How far away is Boardwalk from Epcot and HS? We are planning a trip in January and our little one will be 8 months old and we'd love to just be able to walk to those parks!

Thanks!

The walk to HS is a bit much for us, but I had two seven year olds and two elderly folks with us. The walk to EPCOT was very quick and easy. It was the driving force behind us staying there. We usually took the boat to HS. It was never over crowded, as I think Boardwalk is the first stop for pick up to go there.

One of the best things of the boardwalk is that you are in the back yard of DHS and a stones throw away from the international gateway at EPCOT there is a boat that will take you right up to where you want to go should you decide against walking.and the boat ride i would say is less then 5 min no longer than 10 min if my memory serves me corrrectly. It is a real nice walk to epcot as you get to pass the other hotels along the way and enjoy the scenery. TIP: stop by beaches and cream at the yauct and beach club and see if you can beat the kitchen sink! ( it is a big glass of ice cream you may need some help with it)! enjoy your trip!!!!

Heading for the great escape.
We always walked to both parks. The studios are a bit of a hike after a long day, but the path is barely used and we found it a great way to end the day as we used to go into the quiet pool post walk.

If the kids are in strollers the HS walk is not bad. It's about 20 minutes, but it's serene. It's not like walking through World Showcase during F&W - it's a really relaxing walk.

I love taking the walk. Many times in my opinion it is quicker than taking the boats especially if there is a long line at the Studios at the end of the day.

Probably a 12 to 15 minute walk to DHS and 5 minute to Epcot. It is a good pleasant walk to either if the weather is pretty. Hope you have a great trip in Jan. We will be at BWV Jan 11 weekend to cheer on our daughter in the half marathon!
