Boardwalk Grand Villa Jan 2010

Has anyone stayed in the Boardwalk's 3 Bedroom Grand Villa? If so thoughts? I assume the are very difficult to get since there can't be too many of them.

I'm planning a January 2010 trip for 8 adults (2-50 somethings, 2-40 somethings, 2-30 year olds, and 2-20 year olds). We may have a DVC friend hookup but if not can you book these without going through DVC? The reservation system online only has up to 6 adults as an option and I know Jan. 2010 isn't available yet online.

I don't know how it is when you pay cash for the rooms, but DVC point-wise, I believe that two 2-bedroom Villas require less points than one 3-bedroom Grand Villa... True, you lose out on having everyone all in one place, but you get an extra bedroom that way...

Yes, that is another option we were looking at as well. Gives you more options where you can stay too (Beach Club). Thanks for the info.
